Man of the mountain
The crew in the Expedition Amundsen is the best. They spend almost more time in the mountains than seasoned explorers. The man we now present do like company of his dogs in the mountains. Meet our musher Alf Einar Hernes.
Alf Einar Hernes prefer to spend his time in the mountains with his
four-legged friends. During Expedition Amundsen, he will lead his
dogs safe over the great plateu. Most of the participants will meet
Alf Einar at checkpoint 2; Litlos. He will remain at a safe distance
with his sledge and dogs, but follow you all like a shadow
down to Garen. Alf Einar knows how quikly the weather can change
on the plateau and always prepare his sledge for bad weather.
We believe Alf Einar will be the last person to complain of cold and bad weather.
Even Roald Amundsen could not tilted this guy out of balance.
In the beginning of February Alf Einar and his dogs are traveling to Røros to
participate in the famous sleddog race Femundløpet.
